Happy Mother’s Day! If you have been fortunate enough to be a mother or care for a young person in a motherly way – enjoy the day with the things that make you happy.
As an auntie with some really special young folks that I call nieces and nephews, I am forever grateful to have them in my life. It is with joy that I see them grow and develop into such wonderful people. They are as varied in their interests and activities as any group of young people could be: science, dance, golf, music and engineering. They are my darlings! As an auntie, Mother’s Day has a special place in my heart.
My mother is no longer here on this earth. However, that doesn’t change a thing – as far as, the way I celebrate her. I am privileged to have been given such a special mother for the time we did have together. She passed away in 2006, and each year the holidays and special occasions draw me closer to her memory. I smile widely with my every remembrance of her.
Here’s a video – wishing you a day full of joy. Happy Mother’s Day!
Take these nuggets of happiness and share them:
- Celebrate Mother’s Day with joy and make her day happy.
- Give messages of love and tokens of appreciation while she can enjoy them.
- Do not wait until Mother’s Day to celebrate your mom.
- Let her know how special she is everyday!
Happy Mother’s Day from a grateful daughter and auntie.
